Milk to the Rescue
Our hero Ninja Man was fighting the fearsome Shmelp.
He was losing terribly, in fact he needed help.

Suddenly a voice whispered in his ear,
“Never fear, assistance is here.”

The milk fairy!! Straight from Longmont Dairy farm,
Bearing a pitcher of milk upon her arm.

He took the milk, he drank it down.
His muscles bulged, solid and round.

He fought that creature, he knocked it flat.
Then he captured it into a soup vat.

Alone, the meat of Shmelp tastes very fine.
But with milk from Longmont Dairy Farm, it is simply divine!

A raging Shmelp might stampede your way,
So remember: Drink your milk every day.

It holds much more,
It's quite easy to pour.
As cold as an iceberg in the Artic Sea,
Milk is so tasty to me.
Drink a cold glass of milk,
As it races down my throat like silk.
A cool glass of milk is fun,
Even on the run.

Milk and glass bottles are alike you see,
no they’re not like juice and they’re not like tea.
The bottles keep the milk fresh and keep it good,
because that’s the way Longmont Dairy does it, and that’s the way they should.
It looks yummy and tasty when I pour it in a cup,
and when I drink it, it tastes even better and I can’t look up.
Milk keeps the bottle useful so it’s even better not to put to waste,
I can tell they’ve got a good reason, because it has a great taste

The milk is so rich and creamy,
It makes me feel so dreamy.

It helps me go that extra mile.

Glass bottles make the milk fresh and tasty,
I’m glad it’s yummy never pasty.

And of course my family.

Longmont Dairy has great milk,
It looks as white as spun silk.

In the middle of the night,
I see a shine from a flashlight.

It’s Frank coming in his big truck,
Bringing me some delicious milk with any luck.

The milk is so white and creamy,
It makes me feel so very dreamy.

Longmont Dairy’s bottles are made of glass,
This makes the milk taste first class.

For holidays you can order a special treat,
My family and I think it’s really neat.

The Freshness that Lasts
Early in the morning
Before the crack of dawn’
The milk men are waking,
Strerching as they yawn.

They go grab their buckets,
Shivering ‘cause it’s cold,
They wake the sleepy Jerseys with,
”Its time to milk white gold!”

The cow’s beds are lined up neatly,
With each name at the foot of the beds,
“Just five more minutes,” they moo,
Pulling the blankets over their heads.
“We’re running on a schedule you know.
There’s no time to lie about,
Longmont Dairy is known for the freshest milk,
So get up!” the farmers shout.

With a jump and a dash,
The first one in line,
Out of all other cows,
Is little Moonshine.

The farmers grab cow udders,
With buckets in hand
The men start to pumping milk
Like some cow rock band!

With a sigh of relief
The cows shout with a jump;
The clock tells them it’s time for dashing
The milk to the bottling pump.

Putting it in the truck quickly
They zoom down the road like a jet.
I open a treasure chest on my front porch and
“The freshness that lasts” is what I get.
