Milk in cardboard,
Milk in paper,
Milk in plastic,
See you later.
Milk in glass,
Milk by truck,
I like your milk,
Keep it up.

What I think about
milk in glass bottles
It’s tasty, it’s yummy
It looks so good
I like the way it splooshes
Just like the way it should
I can see it in the bottle
I can see it through the glass
If someone asks me if I want some milk
I’ll never say, “I’ll pass”

Longmont Dairy Is
The Best!
Longmont Dairy is the BEST!
Better than all the rest!
It’s delivered
to my house every Thursday night,
By Frank with his big hat light.
The glass bottles
help my milk taste fresh and cool,
It’s so refreshing like swimming in a pool.
The dairy owns their
own cows nearby,
They’re always keeping a watchful eye.
Only the best for
my cows I say,
Let them eat and play.
I also like the
extra treats they sell,
Like Lemonade and more to tell.
My milk tastes so
fresh and yummy,
So I want more milk in my tummy.
The best thing of
all my Mom tells me,
The dairy milk’s not only GOOD but it’s HEALTHY!

Glass Bottles
Cartons are not like bottles
Bottles are better when the milk is cold!
I like Longmont Dairy milk
It taste the freshest, I am sold!
The cows are milked
early in the morning,
Just as the sun is rising high.
Milkers rush to bottle the milk
Then the milk trucks fly!

I like milk.
I do. Do you?
It is true, I do, I do.
I like cookie dough.
I do. Do you?
It is true, I do, I do.
I like apple juice.
I do. Do you?
It is true, I do, I do.
I like eggnog.
I do. Do you?
It is true, I do, I do.
I like cheese.
I do. Do you?
It is true, I do, I do.
I like all these
things.
I do, I do.
But milk in glass bottles
Is the best!

Oh, cows, we love your milk!
Oh, cows, we love your spots!
Oh, farm, we love you cows!
Oh, farm, oh, farm, we love your cows!
Oh, farm, we love your happy cows!

How Milk was Discovered
Most folks heard of the gold rush of 1849.
But the stuff I’m talkin’ about ain’t found in no
mine.
One day a man was
workin’ his farm when he came upon a strange creature.
He was so surprised, that he ran straight to his preacher.
He cried, “I
Jus’ seen a giant pig with fuzzy spots!”
“Get some men! Grab a rope! We’ll tie him up in knots!”
He led the men
to the place, and they saw the beast.
They each took a side to the north, south, west, and east.
The first man grabbed
its neck, and the next man held its tail.
The third man jumped on its back, and it began to flail.
The last man grabbed
a part below and got squirted in the face.
He held open his mouth and exclaimed, “What a great taste!”
“We’ll
be famous! We’ll be rich!
People will rush to drink some of this!”
Pulling, stumbling,
dragging, they eventually reached the barn.
And that, or something like it, was the start of Longmont Dairy Farm.

Every other Thursday.
Cold milk is in our Longmont Dairy cooler.
Longmont Dairy

You can see how much milk you have left.
It is unique thet Longmont Dairy
Uses their bottles over and over again.

Milk in Glass Bottles
Taylor, age 19 months & Patti (Nanny) Boulder, CO
Milk in glass bottles,
Yummy, oh whee!
Milk is delicious
Yes, indeed.
Cold and frothing
Poured in my cup;
Fun and cool, so
Yum-yum to sup.
Milk in glass bottles
Yummy, oh whee!
Waiting for milk de-
Livery, for me.
