Longmont Dairy Farm  October 16, 2001

If you did not receive your full order of milk today, please see below.

We're a little short on milk production today.  It’s because our cows are going through a normal, seasonal fluctuation in milk production.  As you probably know, we use only the milk from our own herd, and don’t buy outside milk when production is low.  We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.  We would like to hear more about your feelings on this issue.  Would you mind answering the short questions below?

1. We do not use BGH (growth hormones) on any of our cows.  This commitment to our customer’s means we don’t buy outside milk..   Are you concerned about the use of BGH on cows? Yes No

2. Our goal is to provide all the milk our customers require; however, would you rather be inconvenienced in this way (shorted occasionally), or have us occasionally buy milk from other farmers? Occasional inconvenience is OK  I would rather know that you never  buy outside milk.

3. We want to provide both high quality and convenience. But if you had to choose, are you more interested in our high quality, or our convenience of delivery? I want the highest quality milk I want convenience

4. Additional comments?
