Longmont Dairy Sponsors Lafayette Quaker Oatmeal Festival on Saturday, January 8, 2011

Longmont Dairy Farm will sponsor the 15th Annual LAFAYETTE QUAKER OATMEAL FESTIVAL that will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011. The Dairy will supply all of the milk products for the breakfast at Pioneer Elementary, located at 101 East Baseline Road from 7:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. The hot oatmeal breakfast features the world's largest toppings bar, and includes bowl of oatmeal, pancakes, muffins, toppings, juice and coffee. 

The Oatmeal Festival is a recipient of the Colorado Governor's Award of Excellence as the best promotion in Colorado and is a “Zero-Waste” event. Anyone wearing Green can go to the Longmont Dairy’s booth,  which will be located near the entrance of the breakfast, for a surprise.

Also included at the event are a Health Fair, the Quicker Quaker 5K Walk/Run, Oatmeal Baking Contest, an opportunity to adopt a pet from the Human Society and the Bonfils Community Blood Drive.
